Based in Jolly Harbour Marina, a seven strong Caribbean yacht management team of full time personnel will ensure your yacht receives the attention it needs. The Antigua base has ideal year round facilities: travel-lift for haul and launch, fuel dock, tie-down yard storage, together with one of the largest supermarkets in the Caribbean. Al Ashford, owner of the Antigua base, has been sailing since the age of 11 in Chichester Harbour, UK. With competitive racing as his first love, he has been in the Caribbean since 2002 having lived and worked in the Cayman Islands before arriving in Antigua. Along with his wife Jackie, who oversees all the office aspects, they own and operate the Horizon base in Antigua.

Eugene Hughes, technician extraordinaire, is responsible for all operational aspects at the Antigua base. From maintenance planning to work scheduling and man-management. Born and bred in Antigua, his experience is vast and he is also responsible for managing the ops team of Deon and Jerome, both highly experienced Marine Technicians. Deon is a keen sailor and also a qualified windsurfing Instructor. Jay is one of the most experienced engine specialists on Antigua. Providing the finishing touches and final polish are Kenroy and Janet the exterior and interior cleaning crew.

Located at Lagoon Marina in Simpson Bay Lagoon (Cole Bay), our newest base lies in the heart of the nautical district of St Maarten. Premium suppliers surrounding the base include North Sails sail loft, Electec (marine electricity), FKG (yacht rigging), Budget Marine and Island Water World (ship chandleries). The duty free status of St Maarten/ St Martin is also an advantage in terms of spare parts and supplies for your yacht. David Duong, the base owner and manager, has over 20 years experience in the marine industry and having lived for the past 11 years in St Maarten, has strong connections within the local sailing community and the surrounding islands.

Based in True Blue Bay Resort and Marina, our team of 8 specialised Caribbean yacht management personnel offer the reassurance that all yachts are in the safest hands. Less than 10 minutes from the airport, facilities in the resort include a 40 room hotel, restaurant & bar, swimming pool, showers, dive shop, laundry, car hire and spa. Owned and operated by James and Jacqui Pascall, this is one of the premier locations in the Southern Caribbean.

James Pascall began sailing at the age of 10 and started a career on the sea as a flotilla skipper in the Mediterranean. James has served on large private yachts as well as worked for charter companies and has experience of life in Greece, Turkey, the BVI and Grenada, spending the last 2 years as base manager for a large charter company. He and his wife Jacqui, who heads up the office operation, set up Horizon Yacht Charters Grenada in 2000. Jacqui also comes from many years experience working on crewed charter yachts both large and small around the Caribbean. Her first sailing experience was sailing the Golden Hinde, Sir Francis Drake’s famous Galleon from England to Vancouver (a replica of course!).

Nichol Bethel, the Caribbean yacht management Maintenance Manager, grew up in Petit Martinique and has been involved with boats all his life. After an extensive career in engineering, he is now responsible for all maintenance operations and dock organisation for the company. The Maintenance team consists of three full time technicians: Cuthbert handles mechanical/ electrical aspects, Dwayne and Earl work on the rigging and topsides. Curtis and Juliet ensure that the boats look their best – both inside and out.
